Kırıkkale was part of Ankara but became its own province in 1989. It has a well developed industry sector which includes weapons, steel and petrol. There was once the beginnings of a fellowship but persecution scattered the believers.
The team writes: "We’ve had many different encounters in the last days and have been building relationships with locals. We first met with a man working in a bookstore and he showed interest in reading the Incil so we gave him one and shared with him. The next day we stopped by his bookstore again and sat down for çay and had a long conversation with him as well as many of his friends who showed up while we were sharing. One man who came was very curious and asked a lot of questions about Christianity. We were able to clarify and give him resources such as the Incil and the Jesus film. Meanwhile the girls on our team met a woman in the park and got invited to her home. They met the family and when the family escorted them back to where we were staying, we were all invited to a meal at their house. The next day the daughter messaged one of us to share that she had a dream where she was walking in a garden with one of the girls on our team and she felt really happy. We are thankful and happy to see how God is placing people in our path and opening their hearts.
