Gaziantep is the most prosperous city in the east. It exports its cuisine and its politicians all over Turkey! Interest in the BCC has been good. There are two small fellowships that need unity. Come, be a blessing.
The team in Gaziantep attracted a crowd of ladies by sitting in a park to do henna designs. They spent several hours talking to them, though the language problem made it difficult. They were able to pray for a little girl with heart disease and they were able to give each of the ladies an SD card. They gave a "You are Special" brochure to a lady sitting in the park with her four daughters and ended taking them out for tea. They were able to pray with them and also "happened" to run into them the next day. In a bookstore, one of the team found a book that one of her relatives had written about outreach in Turkey in the mid-1800s. She bought several copies and when she told the salesman that she was related to the author, it opened up a great conversation with him! He had many questions about Christianity. They spent time in a mall giving out QR cards and later when they went back, a girl who had received one ran up to them to ask where she could get an İncil! A team member had one in her purse and was able to give her one!
