Bilecik

Bilecik is an important province in Ottoman history as it was from here that the Ottomans rose up against the Byzantines. It is a somewhat isolated province which has not shown much spiritual fruit. You can help.

New university, new opportunities!

Bilecik - the city that gives hope!

An international team was invited by a profesor at Bilecik University, a relatively new school founded in 2008 but lively and growing. The team was welcomed by teachers, research associates and students, then they got to work teaching English conversation. In the evening, they were invited by the Erasmus club and they could have great conversations with them as many spoke English. As Easter was so close, many asked about that and the team could share. One girl said she had visited a Catholic church in Istanbul and strangely whenever she visits, she feels so much peace. The team was able to give out many different gospel tracts and also several New Testaments. The professor who invited them already has one Turkish believer friend - please pray for him to learn the truth! The team was also able to encourage the pastor of a group of refugees who are living temporarily in Bilecik.
