Adana is Turkey's fifth largest city. Spiritually difficult for many years, it now has several small churches. Its many crusader castles bring a grim reminder of historic damage to the gospel here.
The team in Adana went to a park with a sign offering prayer for healing and/or free henna and a story! Immediately many came and wanted prayer for healing. Several refugees from Iraq also came who were very open and they received the henna story plus SD cards with Scriptures and Christian films in Arabic. The security personnel for the park came and told them to move but after explaining that it was free and just one night, he let them stay and actually made sure no one bothered them! Around 10 pm they went to a cafe at the end of the park for cold drinks and while sitting there they saw 10-15 students practicing their English. They asked to join them so stayed up well into the night, sharing their testimonies and prophesying over them. There were many good conversations. The group of students say they go every evening so the team plans to go again. Pray for hunger and open hearts!
